Hello all!

My name is Katy. I am married to Jay and am mummy to two little girls, Isabella and Lily. I have sewn curtains, blinds and cushions for family & friends for the past 4 years after taking a course and enjoy it so much that I have decided to turn it into a business. After all, there are only so many windows and sofas in one home! I take orders for curtains, blinds, cushions, valances, tiebacks, & bunting.

As well as a love of sewing and making things for the home, I am currently trying my hand at dressmaking. Its going well but slowly! Feel free to send advice my way when I ask for it.

I also love anything food related. I keep this fuelled by a subscription to BBC Good Food Magazine. As a mummy of 2, there isn’t always time to read them but I know I will get through my stack of cellophane wrapped mags sometime. At time of writing this, I think I’m still leafing through February 2011. When I’m stuck for inspiration there are two women I turn to who I trust to give me the answer, Delia Smith & Mary Berry. Their cookbooks are sacred in our house. I feel like Delia’s Squidgy Chocolate Log was written just for me. No honestly!
